The exhibition "Colours and Forms of France" was opened in the Tolerance Center of the Vilna Gaon State Jewish Museum.

The exhibition displays landscapes, still-lifes and sculpture by famous Litvak artists who in the early 20th century represented the School of Paris. The colours of France come to life in paintings by Michel Kikoïne, Pinchus Krémègne, Neemija Arbit Blatas, Marc Chagall and Max Band. Plastic expression unfolds in sculptures by Jacques Lipchitz, Emmanuel Mané-Katz, Ossip Zadkine, Théo Tobiasse, the majority of which will be displayed in Lithuania for the first time.

Exhibition will be open until 2014 09 28.
